I have found my favorite Windows based security tool: SuperScan. It has most of the functionality I use from nmap, with a slick GUI interface. It helps map out a network fairly quickly, and its simple html output includes live links to enumerated services with open ports. It’s a single file executable, so now I always have it in my pocket on my flash drive with my other system tools.

About my only problem with the Grandstream BT-101 IP phone (other than the dreadful speaker phone) is the odd sized port for the headset. After looking pretty hard for an affordable adapter solution I finally find one at the local Radio Shack. It works just fine for $3.99.
